Antique 1880s Stanley Rule & Level Co #113, Circular Plane Type 2
Wonderful antique Stanley Rule & Level Co. of New Britain, CT. #113, Circular Plane or sometimes called a Compass Plane.
Stanley Tools made this plane from 1879 to 1942 and went through several changes during that period. This is a Type 2 made between 1880 – 1891.
The plane was design to plane contoured surfaces.
Overall condition is good has paint lose and light rust in spots.
Circa,1880s
Marked, Stanley Rule & Level Co
Measures, 10 ½” long, 5 ½” tall, 1¾” cutting blade.
Condition, lightly cleaned and oiled.
