Wonderful 1950s Switchboard Telephone. The Kellogg 1000 Series - Redbar, made by Kellogg Switchboard & Supply Co., 6650 S. Cicero Ave., Chicago, IL. [Bedford Park]
The Kellogg 1000 Series phone was manufactured from 1947 to 1957, considered the top of the line in the post war Era telephone.
The Redbar is easily recognized by its bright red hook switch actuator plunger. The Type 1000 was supplied either with a dial for automatic service or with a dial blank and operator crank handle for manual service.
Overall condition is very good, rubber feet are like new.

Circa, 1950s
Measures, 5” wide without crank handle, 7½” depth, 7½” tall.
Condition, light scuffs from age and use.
