Antique 1920s Arcade Crystal #3 Coffee Grinder, Wall Mount Coffee Grinder.
This beautiful Arcade Crystal coffee bean grinder is the perfect addition to your vintage kitchen décor. Made of cast iron with glass hopper and catch cup, these would have been found hanging on the wall of your kitchen between 1900 to the 1930s.
The grinder is fully adjustable so you can get the perfect grind for that perfect cup of coffee.
This grinder has its original un-embossed lid and hopper, the original catch cup as usual was broken a long time ago and replaced with a Ball jelly jar. This is a very early version of a #3 grinder with a fixed hopper (does not unscrew). We found this beautiful grinder attached to an antique/rustic wooden cutting board. The board is a wonderful addition to this piece but can also be removed easily. (If you would like the board removed, please contact us. It would reduce the cost of shipping)
Arcade grinders are very well made and easy to use, which is the reason they are so sought after. This one is over 100 years old and will easily last a hundred more years.
We have cleaned this grinder inside and out, it works magnificently. Has wonderful bubbles in the glass hopper very common in antique glass.
Circa, 1910-20.
Measures, without board = 17½” tall, 5½” wide, and protrudes off the wall 8½”. Board measures 22½” x 13¼” x 7/8” thick.
Condition, grinder is in wonderful clean condition with some paint lose on handle and frame, glass hopper has a couple small scuffs.
