Antique Triple L Logo Ball Fruit Jar with Zinc Lid, Blue Glass 16oz Size Jar.
Wonderful find a true collector piece a pint Ball Fruit Jar. The marking on this jar date it to have been made between 1900-1910, it is known as a Triple L or 3-L logo design, the loop after the last (L) looks like another (L).
These jars were molded using a two-piece manufacturing method, the top threaded rim was placed onto the base while it was still molten glass. The base on the jar is marked with two dots, these are the manufacturers production line placement marks, tells which mold the jar was made on.
The jar has air bubbles and sand particles in the glass, common for this era of glass manufacturing.

Circa, 1900-1910
Measures, 5½” tall x 3¼” diameter.
Marked, Ball Mason
Condition, fair with no cracks, scratches on outside and base.
