Vintage 1940s, ANRI Hand Carved Italian Barware, Anri Wood Figural Barware Set, Corkscrew & Bottle Opener
Beautiful and highly collectible Anri wood carvings have been around for over 130 years, hand carved and painted. This set is of a chipper fellow who may have had a few too many, the detail of the carving is wonderful with his facial features right down to the cigar in his hand. The lamp post has a hidden corkscrew and lift the man’s head to reveal a bottle opener.
These were originally sold as barware items to use, but now this one is over 80 years old and should be a collectible.
Overall condition is particularly good, the only flaw we can find on this wonderful carving is at the tip-top of the lamp as we show in the photos.

History,
The Carving is made by ANRI they have been in business for over 130 years and made in Italy, these are hand carved and painted no two pieces were ever alike.

Measures, 10½” tall, base is 4½” x 3½”.
