Antique Multi Tool, Glazers Tool with Corkscrew and Glass Cutter, Artisan Tool.
Wonderful multi-tool from the 1800s, these tools were made by a couple different companies starting with Monce in 1869 and Brooks in 1874 followed by Adams in 1880. This tool is unmarked but in very nice condition. The tool has a glass cutter at one end and a grazing knife at the other with a corkscrew in the center, it is finished in a bronze washed finish very common in the middle to late 1800s.
This tool is considered highly collectible by the corkscrew collectors.
Circa, 1870-1880s
Marked, none.
Measures, 5½” long.
Condition, used, good for age, lots of the original bronze finish remaining.
