Vintage PeDe Dienes Mokka Box Coffee Grinder, Model 543 Coffee Mill
Wonderful German made box coffee grinder, made by Peter Dienes of
West Germany (PeDe is a synonym for Peter)
This is a unique version of their slim grinder, which was designed to take up less counter space, measures only 2¾” wide. What makes this grinder unique is the adjustable knob to set the grinder from fine to coarse grind is located on the back of the grinder.
Made of Hardwood maple with chrome plated metal hopper cap, the pull-out catch drawer is made of tin with a wood drawer front.
The grinder has been thoroughly cleaned inside and out, ready to use.
Circa, 1950s
Measures, 2¾” wide, 5¾” depth, excluding crank handle, 7¾” tall with handle.
Condition, box has scuffs on wood, and the hopper lid has faded chrome, as shown.
