Antique Pair of August Buermann Spurs, Hand-Forged Western Spurs
Beautiful pair of Hand-Forged Western Spurs manufactured by August Buermann of Newark, NJ.
These are Buermann Model #1270, The spurs have the traditional Buerman shank with built-in chap guard 1-5/8” 10-point rowel, 1-1/2” drop shank and chasing around the outer heel-band, they also have the original double heel chains.
These have been sitting in a collection in Wyoming for the past 60 years.
If you’re a collector of Western Spurs these are a must have.

Circa, 1880s
Markings, Forged, Pat’D
Condition, very good with normal discoloration on metal, leather is old and worn.
