Sold to Mike, Antique Pair of Mexican Iron Spurs with Silver Inlay and Overlay
We can only say amazing when looking at these spurs, with the beautiful double mounted Silver Inlay with that traditional Floral Design.
The 2” shank supports a large 3-1/8”, 8-point rowel, the heel-band has a 3+inch spread.
It took a large man to carry these around, each spur weighs in at over 1-1/2 pounds.
They come with a one-piece tooled leather strap with Floral Design.
These have been sitting in a collection in Wyoming for the past 60 years.
If you’re a collector of Western Spurs these are a must have.
Circa, late 1800s.
Markings, none
Condition, very good with normal discoloration on metal, some silver lose on rowels, leather is old and worn.
