Pair of Rare Side Rowel Spurs, Sidewinder Spurs
This is a pair of very rare side rowel spurs, where the 6-point rowel is sitting horizontal in the shank.
Made of nickel-plated cast steel with a metal stamped rowel finished in a gun metal bluing.
The long 3” shank supports a 1¾”, 6-point rowel, the heel-band has a 2¾” spread.
They come with one very old leather strap.
These have been sitting in a collection in Wyoming for the past 60 years.
