Beautiful and highly collectible Anri wood carvings have been around for over 110 years hand carved and painted. This beautiful set is known as, The Happy Monk, who may have had a little too much of his ale. Anri made a couple different versions of the Monk on a Barrel they would have come with corkscrews, bottle openers and sometimes with bottle stoppers.
This set has all three lift the Monks head to reveal the corkscrew, the Wine Bottle to reveal the opener and the foam on the beer stein to reveal the bottle stopper.
This Carving is in exquisite condition for 80 years old.
Circa, 1950s
Measures, 4” x 3” x 5¾” tall.
Condition, exquisite condition.
