Antique 1900s Weymans Copenhagen Ceramic Snuff Jar with Lid
Wonderful find this original Weyman Copenhagen Ceramic Snuff Jar with Tin Lid. The jar is from the turn of the Century 1900, tannish color and glazed inside and out and marked at the base Weymans Snuff. The Tin Lid is original and stamped with the W /C hallmark (Weyman Copenhagen) in the center and Copenhagen Snuff on the outer rim.
These jars are fairly common without lids, this jar with the lid is a serious collector’s piece.
Circa, 1900
Marked, Weymans Snuff
Measures, 6” tall, 4 3/8” diameter.
Condition, at some point the jar had green paint on it and the lid, it still shows some spots of the green paint on jar and lid.
