1954 Singer 221 Featherweight sewing Machine with Carrying Case, cleaned, and serviced Serial Number AL735062. The machine badge was issued on May 11,1954, and was manufactured in Elizabethsport, NJ, USA.
In 1954 the classic "Egyptian Scroll" or "Celtic" decals were replaced with the "Paperclip" or "Prism" design.
It has an original 110-volt motor and beautiful chrome trim. The machine, case, and attachments are all in good vintage condition. This is a nice machine finished in that classic deep gorgeous shiny Black featherweight paint, gold decals and chrome trim. Please see all photos as they are part of the item’s description.
**We have thoroughly cleaned and serviced this machine and replaced any worn or faulty parts. New electrical cord.

Overall Condition,
MACHINE, runs and operates smoothly, sewing bed shows minor scuffs, and scratches, paint chips at base of machine, thread spool holder is wobbly but solid.
CASE, wear on corners, scuffs, and scratches, very structurally solid, bottom fabric is heavily worn.
