Antique Corkscrew, 1890s Cellarman's Corkscrew, Wine Bottle Opener


Antique Cellarman's Straight Pull with Button Corkscrew
This are known as Cellarman’s or Loop handle corkscrews designed to fit four fingers in the handle, this one is made with a button just above the worm (screw) the button is designed to break the seal of the cork by twisting it, once the button hits the cork it turns the cork loosening it in the neck of the bottle allowing for easier removal of the cork. Made of nickel-plated steel.

Circa 1890-1900s
Measure, 6” long 3 ¼” wide at handle with sharp wire worm
Condition is good, does have light plating wear.
