We have for sale a Vintage Mid-Century Modern General Mills 2-Slice Automatic Pop-Up Toaster Model GM5A
After World War II, General Mills entered the home appliance market for a short time. This attractively designed toaster was made from 1949 through 1951. Beautiful chrome with black bakelite handles/cradle and a red Lighter/Darker adjustment knob. Original black and white cloth covered cord and plug in are both in very good condition. Normal for its time in US design it operates on AC or DC current.
Heats up nicely and works like a charm! In very good vintage condition with only minor scratches and minor discoloration spots. Perfect for use or display.
Measures 11” long by 9” high by 5” deep
