Medical Parabolic Magnifying Candle Lamp
Wonderful find, this vintage Magnifying Candle Lamp. These were originally designed to be used in operating rooms in the days before electricity. The candle is placed between the large reflector shield and the magnifying glass, the light from the candle is cast through the magnifier and enhanced for better lighting. Today these make wonderful décor items. Comes with candle.
Measures, 19” tall, reflector is 11½” in diameter.
Made of Brass.
Condition, no dents or dings, has a deep patina on the brass, scuffs and scratches, we have cleaned the reflector to show purpose of lamp. has minor wear on base and light stain spot on reflector.
