French Debouchtout Concertina Corkscrew
This is a very collectible French Concertina style corkscrew from the 1930s. Known as a Concertina style Corkscrew, insert corkscrew into wine cork and simply pull straight up on the handle, the corkscrew design will pull the cork for you. It has a nice sharp bladed worm (corkscrew) designed to cut through the cork with ease.
It is Marked "Debouchtout" & "Bte S. G. D. G. marque et Modele Deposes France Etranges" on both sides of the corkscrew.
Circa, 1930s
Measures, 5 ¾” long retracted, 9” expanded, 5 ½” wide
Marked, made in France, Bte S.G.D.G. Deposes France
Condition, as found condition, works very well, light wear on finish.
