Antique Victorian Women’s Brown Leather High Top Lace Up Boots
Wonderful find, this beautiful pair Women’s Brown Leather Boots made and sold by William Kozelka of Postville Iowa.
The boots have classic 36-eyes with long cotton laces, made of all leather with a stacked leather two-inch heel. The lining is a linen stitched fabric.
Marked in the inside Mw Kozelka Postville Iowa, 24-11, 55/75. The size of these boots is approximately 8 ½US / 43EU and a narrow width A/2.875”.
History,
William Kozelka Born 1887. At the age of 16, he moved to Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin where he learned the shoe repairing business at the age of 24, in 1911, William opened a shoe store in Postville Iowa which he operated for 41 years, retiring in 1952.

Condition, wonderful, leather is very pliable and solid sole shows normal wear, stitching is solid and tight.
