Vintage Pair of 1950s Snocraft Wooden Snowshoes
Stunningly beautiful pair of 1950s snowshoes made by Snocraft Inc. of Norway Maine.
These snowshoes are known as Alaskan, or Trapper Snowshoes designed with a long and narrow pattern which allows a person to maneuver through the thick trees and brush more easily.
These are marked on the front crossbar Snocraft and have stamped with a model # 91371 and the size 10x56 on the tail, they measure 57 inches long and 10 inches wide, and the original leather bindings are attached.

The overall condition is amazing for being over 70 years old. We have gently cleaned these and took great care not to damage any of the lacings; the leather bindings are a little stiff but still somewhat pliable the brass buckles have deep green patina.
Once again these are stunning and will make the most amazing display in your Home, Cabin or at a Resort.

History,
Snocraft, a Norway and Maine-based manufacturer of snowshoes became one of the largest snowshoe manufacturers due to the support of the United States Military's during the Second World War, the US Military purchased tens of thousands of snowshoes for World War II from the Snocraft company.

Measures: 57” long 10” wide.
Condition: vintage.
