Vintage 1950s TV Accent Lamp, Gazelle with Fiberglass Filter Shade
A true Mid-Century piece, this beautiful ceramic TV Accent Lamp made by Elbro of Japan. It is hand decorated and features a black gazelle with gold highlights. The moon shaped filter screen is made of fiberglass woven onto a metal frame. In the base of the lamp is filled with wax and would have once held faux foliage that would have been placed between the screen and the gazelle.
Circa: 1950s
Measures: 8½” wide at screen, 10” tall, 6” in depth with bulb.
Condition: wonderful no chips or cracks in the ceramic, screen is solid with a discolored area from using to large of a bulb.
