1800s Wooden Bottle Corker
Wonderful find, this mid-to-late 1800s Bottle Corker, made of hardwood and brass. Pull the handle upward to hinge the corker open, corker in lined with a brass sleeve and brass collars, ramming rod has a leather covered end.
To use, you would open the corker place a moistened cork into the corker place the corker onto a bottle, hit the to of the corker handle driving the cork into the bottle.
Circa, 1800s
Measures, 10½” tall, 2¼” diameter.
Condition, very nice condition for age.
