Antique 1900s Massachusetts Wooden Cranberry Scoop
Stunning authentic turn of the century 1900 Massachusetts Wood Cranberry Harvest scoop. This Cranberry scoop or sometimes called a rake was used to harvest cranberries from the flooded fields in Massachusetts it is made of wonderful, weathered wood and galvanized metal, the staves are 10.5” long and made of galvanized metal formed over wood, the contoured handle is 18.25” long designed for two hands one in the back and one out on the end. Has the number 31 painted on the side from the farm. The scoop has been varnished to seal in all the lovely patina; it is very clean and ready to display.
This will make such a wonderful decorating item especially in the holiday season, imagine a cornucopia center piece for your Thanksgiving dinner.
