Antique 1700s European Wood Grain Scoop
Stunning authentic 18th-century Wooden Grain Scoop. European design of scoop and hand forged hardware. Designed for two hands this is a larger scoop measuring 29½” long end of handle to front of scoop. Constructed with dovetail joinery at the back corners and wooden dowls securing the bottom along with hand forged wrought iron hardware. This piece is a couple of centuries old and has had a few repairs along the way, repaired in the 1800s with one square nail and again in the 1900s with two common nails.
This will make such a wonderful decorating item especially in the holiday season.
Circa: 1700s
Measures; 29½” long, 9” wide, 7½” tall.
Condition: vintage used condition.
