1940s Griswold #8 Chicken Pan with Lid,
Wonderful find, this #8 Chicken Pan with Lid made by the Griswold Company of Erie PA. This pan is known as the Griswold Iron Mountain series manufacturing in the 1940s. Right after the Great Depression Griswold introduced the Iron Mountain series without the Griswold name on it, the series was sold as a lesser expensive model. It was only marked with the model numbers Lid #1035 A and pan #1034 A, and Chicken Pan. The pan also has a heat ring on the bottom.

Measures, pan - 10½” diameter, 3” deep inside, handle is 5” long. Lid-3 ¼” tall with handle.
Weigh 9 pounds
Condition, no chips, cranks. Needs cleaned and seasoned.
