Antique French Jacques Perille Champagne Tap
Exquisite find, this late 1800s Long Champagne Tap made by Jacques Perille of France. The tap is made of nickel-plated brass with a steel screw tip at the base. It is designed to use on a large bottle containing 8-12 liters (standard size bottle).
Using the tap is quite simple, screw the steel tip through the cork and push the tap to the base of the bottle, the beverage would flow through the holes at the base of the tap through the petcock valve at out the dolphin's mouth, spout.
Circa: late 1800s
Marked: J-P Depose Paris.
Measures: 14 ¼” long.
Condition: clean with minimal metal finish wear.
