Official 1971 Nebraska Brand Book
Wonderful and rare find, this 1971 Nebraska Brand Record Book, Livestock Brand Registry.
Nebraska officially started mandating livestock brands when Nebraska was still a territory. The first official Nebraska brand book was issued in 1899. Nebraska does not issue brand books on an annual basis, records show there were as few as 12 years Nebraska issued an updated book from 1908 to 2015. Obtaining an officially Nebraska brand book is difficult.
This is a large book, pages are not numbered, contains upward of 800 pages.
Circa:1971
Measures: 8½” x 5½” x 3” thick.
Condition: good, normal wear on cover, book appears not used often.
