Father Time Brass Half Hourglass
Wonderful Hourglass featuring Father Time design on each end and Roman numerals 1 through 12 on the inside next to the glass. This is called an Hourglass although this one is sized for 30 minutes, it is a Half Hourglass.
The Father Time symbol is an elderly winged man carrying a scythe to represent time's constant flow and the cycle of life and death.
Circa: 1960
Measures: 7¼” tall, 4” diameter
Condition: wonderful brass has deep patina, rubber housing which holds glass in place is dried and cracked.
