Antique Free Treadle Sewing Machine Attachment Set
Wonderful set of attachments for the Free Brand Treadle Sewing machine. The attachments were manufactured by Greist manufacturing of New Haven, Connecticut. Greist manufacturing produced attachments for several sewing machine manufacturers including Singer and White.
The Free sewing machine company produced their Treadle Sewing machines from 1902 approximately 1910. There are approximately 15 attachments.
History,
The Free Sewing Machine Company was formed in 1895 and produced machines in Rockford, Illinois, until 1958.
Circa: 1902-1910
Marked: Free, Greist.
Measures: box 7” x 3” x 2”.
Condition: very clean attachments, metal box has scuffs on the bottom.
