1950s Singer Sewhandy Model 20 Centennial Edition

$498.00

1951 Singer Model 20 Sewhandy Centennial Edition.
The Sewhandy is a fully Functional Hand Crank Sewing Machine in toy size and sews wonderfully. Originally patented in 1910 and manufactured until 1975, these were known as the most popular toy sewing machines ever made. This is the 1950s model which has a thicker base column although it still uses the same mechanics as its predecessor from 1910. This machine is a rare Centennial addition issued in 1951 in its beautiful classic deep gorgeous shiny Black finish. The thread running is simple on this machine with all the parts numbered 1 through 6 and down to the needle to thread this little machine. We have cleaned and tested the little machine and it sews wonderfully. It has only minor scuffs at the base of the machine. Uses a 24x1 needle.

Circa: 1951
Marked: Singer
Measures: 7” tall, 7” wide, 3 ¾” depth.
Condition: very clean, works wonderfully, sewing table has a couple spots.
