Vintage 1945 KAYanEE, SEW MASTER Child’s Sewing Machine. Made in Berlin, Germany, US-Zone
The machine can be hand-operated or battery-operated, a manual machine that uses a single thread creating a chain stitch. This machine was not a toy, as they were designed for children to learn how to sew - perfect size for making doll clothes.
The machine is made of metal and is in a lovely pink color; it comes in its original maple wood case.
It will make the best gift or that perfect addition for your collection.
Condition is untested, missing the needle, believed to use a 12-1 size needle. cranks up and down and appears it would sew with a needle. The battery storage electrical connector needs to be reattached; all parts appear to be intact.
