Vintage 1950s Singer Sewhandy Model 20 Sewing Machine, Made in Great Britain.
Wonderful child-sized sewing machine made by Singer Manufacturing Company and manufactured in Great Britain. This is a fully Functional hand-crank sewing Machine in toy size. Originally patented in 1910 and manufactured until 1975, these were known as the most popular toy sewing machines ever made. This is the 1950s model, which has a thicker base column, although it still uses the same mechanics as its predecessor of 1910.
This machine is finished in the Singer Smooth Tan with gold trim (Singer also offered a rough-textured tan colored machine). It operates smoothly. The thread running is simple on this machine, with all the parts numbered 1 through 5, and down to the needle to thread this little machine.
Comes as shown with original box, instructions, hold-down clamp, fabric guide, screwdriver tool, scissors, two extra needles, and fabric rule. the machine has a new needle and thread.

Measures, machine 7” tall, 7” wide, 3 ¾” depth.
Condition: It operates nicely; the machine has paint chips as shown in the pictures, box has wear.
