Vintage 1949 Remington Cartridges Ammunition Crate
Wonderful find this Ammunition Crate from the Remington Arms Company, Bridgeport, Conn.
This is a special crate sent by the (Commanding Officer of the Savanna Ordnance Depot, Proving Grounds, Illinois) to the (Sioux Junior Rifle Club, Sioux Falls, South Dakota).
The crate originally held 10,000 rounds of 22 long rifle. The crate is stamped on four sides with the Remington name; the top lid has the shipping information and date.

Circa: 1949
Measures: 14¼” x 11½” x 6” tall.
Condition: amazing, was originally opened from the bottom, has a top cover, and no bottom.
