Vintage 1950s Singer Sewhandy Model #20 Sewing Machine, Made in the USA
A wonderful child-sized sewing machine, made by Singer Manufacturing Company and manufactured in the USA. This is a fully Functional hand-crank sewing Machine in toy size. Originally patented in 1910 and manufactured until 1975, these were known as the most popular toy sewing machines ever made. This is the 1950s model, which has a thicker base column, although it still uses the same mechanics as its predecessor of 1910.
This machine is finished in the Singer classic black with gold trim. It operates smoothly. The thread running is simple on this machine, with all the parts numbered 1 through 5, and down to the needle to thread this little machine.
Comes as shown with original box, instructions, hold-down clamp, fabric guide, and screwdriver. The machine has a new needle and two extra needles.

Measures, machine 7” tall, 7” wide, 3 ¾” deep.
Condition: It operates nicely; the machine has minor wear, and the chrome sewing bed is scratched from the fabric guide, as shown in the pictures. The box is worn.
