Wonderful find, these Hardcover 1995 Wyoming Brand Record Books, Livestock Brand Registry.
Wyoming officially began recording livestock brands in 1909. The first official Wyoming brand book was issued in 1913. Some unofficial books date as far back as 1861. Wyoming does not issue brand books on an annual basis. The 1995 book is for brands before July 1, 1995. The Supplement brand book is for brands dating from July 1, 1995, to December 31, 1997.
This is a wonderful opportunity to own these two original Wyoming Brand Books; they do not appear on the market very often.
Circa:1995 - 1997
Measures: 10 ¼” x 7” x 2” & 10 ¼” x 6 ½” x 5/8”.
Condition: both books have a clear dust cover, the brand book has some cover damage, and the supplement book has minor cover damage.
