Antique 1883 Griswold Tobacco Cutter
Rare and wonderful find, this antique Griswold Tobacco Plug Cutter. Manufactured in 1883 by the Griswold Manufacturing Company of Erie, PA.
You would have found these in mercantile and tobacco shops across America in the late 1800s, bolted down to the countertop for cutting plug tobacco for customers.
Condition is very good with original paint and pin striping. The cast iron is solid, with no chips or cracks.
Circa: 1883
Measures: 16 ½” long, 3 ¾” wide at base, 8” tall. Weighs 5.5 pounds.
Condition: the paint and the pin striping are worn in areas
