Antique French Sanbri Handheld Bottle Corker
Wonderful find, this French handheld single-lever bottle corker made by Sanbri Company.
The Sanbri Company was a well-known French wine equipment firm, located in the northern tip of France. The corker is made of brass with a steel lever arm and a wooden handle. There is an adjustment nut at the top of the insert piston. This adjusts the depth at which the cork is set into the bottle. This is a beautiful display item for your wine bar or a gift for that wine collector.
Circa: 1920-30s
Measures: 13” long x 5½” tall handle down
Marked: Sanbri on both sides of the frame.
Condition: wonderful for age. The wooden handle has damage on the bottom side, as shown in the pictures.
