Antique Wooden Bottle Corker
Wonderful find, this mid-to-late 1800s Bottle Corker, made of hardwood and brass. Pull the handle upward to hinge the corker open. The corker is lined with a brass sleeve and brass collars, driving rod has a brass-covered tip.
To use, you would open the corker, place a moistened cork into the corker, place the corker onto the bottle, and hit the top of the corker handle, driving the cork into the bottle.
Circa, 1920
Measures, 10½” tall, 2¼” diameter.
Condition: wonderful for age. Wood shows wear from use.
