Antique Sewing Bird Pin Cushion
wonderful find, this antique sewing bird pin cushion that clamps onto the edge of a table or work surface. Made of brass, the bird itself measures approximately 3" long, 1½” wide, and 1¼” tall. Overall height is approximately 5” tall.
The beak of the bird opens by pressing down on the tail. The beak is used to hold fabric.
Circa, 1850-1890.
Condition: It is an antique, showing wear and aging. The cushion is in nice condition. Needs a thorough cleaning.
