Antique 1890s Val. Blatz Brewing, Wood Shipping Crate, Blatz Beer
Wonderful find, this wood shipping crate used by Valentin Blatz Brewing Company of Milwaukee Wisconsin.
The crate is made of wood with metal: hinges, lid clasp, and handle-hole inserts.
The crate is marked Val. Blatz Brewing Milwaukee, 2 Dozen Bottles.
This is a larger crate designed to hold 24 bottles of beer.
The Valentin Blatz Brewing Company commonly used the "Val Blatz" name, particularly in its corporate title and branding, from its incorporation in 1889 through 1920s. Changing it to just the Blatz Brewing Company in the late 1920s.

Circa: 1890-1910
Measurements: 24½” wide, 16” depth, 13½” tall.
Condition: rustic, in solid condition.
