Antique Sterling Stag Horn Handle Corkscrew, Wine Bottle Opener
Fabulous find, this amazing Stag Horn Corkscrew with Sterling Silver Tips. The large handle is easy to grip and feels good in your hand, making a very strong statement. This is someone who knows their wine.
Made of a large Stag horn handle with sterling silver ends, the bell above the corkscrew is a Walker Company design from 1900, which has a wire breaker and cap-lifter. The worm (corkscrew) is known as a bladed style with the outer edge designed to cut through the cork with ease. Above the bell is a decorative collar that covers the shaft, which attaches to the horn.
The Sterling silver is marked with (Sterling B4156) and the maker's markings. The end is monogrammed with initials ESW.

Circa: 1900-20
Measurements: 6” tall, 9 1/2" wide at handle.
Condition: wonderful condition, has some plating loss on the bell and worm, the worm has a slight bend.
