Antique 1890s Corkscrew with Boar-Tusk Handle and a Sterling Silver Cap, Wine Bottle Opener
Wonderful find, this beautiful Boar Tusk Corkscrew with a Sterling Silver cap.
Made of a Boar Tusk handle with a sterling silver end, the bell above the corkscrew is a Walker Company design from 1890, known as a self-pull, keep turning the handle, and the cork will be pulled from the bottle. The worm (corkscrew) is known as a bladed style with the outer edge designed to cut through the cork with ease.
The Sterling silver cap is marked with (Sterling) on the end. The Sterling end cap has not been monogrammed; you could add your initials or give it as a gift with their initials, a truly spectacular gift to give.

Circa: 1890-1900
Measurements: 5¾” tall, 5¾” wide at handle.
Condition: wonderful condition, has some plating loss on the bell and worm, the Sterling cap has light wear at the end.
