Antique 1860s Aultman, Miller & Co. Buckeye Cast Iron Tractor Seat
Wonderful find, this Antique Tractor Seat, made of cast iron.
This is not actually a tractor seat, although it is the same size. It is from a horse-drawn Harvester made by The Buckeye Manufacturing Company of Akron, Ohio. Still has its original square nut & mounting bolt.
Seat reads, Aultman, Miller & Co. on the top edge of the back of the seat & Buckeye Akron O on the seat.
This is an original implement seat, not a reproduction.
It will make a perfect outdoor or barstool seat.

History,
In 1863, Aultman, Miller & Co. was established in Akron, Ohio, to manufacture the popular Buckeye mower and reapers. The firm was often referred to as Buckeye Mower and Reaper Works.

Circa: 1860-70s
Measures: 16¼” wide, 15” depth, weighs 15 pounds.
Condition: last (E) in the work Buckeye is missing the middle portion of the letter.
