1910 Edinburgh Silver Sommelier cup, Bone & Silver
Wonderful find, this Scottish Quaich Tastevin Cup, Wine Tasting, Brandy Tasting, and Sommelier Cup. Maker's mark of William Dunningham & Company
Made of Edinburgh Sterling Silver inlaid into the Bovine Bone cup—a very lovely piece.
The words “Squab AS’I” are Gaelic for “Sweep it up,” a Scottish toast.
These cups were made with one, two, and four handles, one handle being the rarest design produced.
This is an extremely rare find, a museum-quality piece.
