Antique Sterling Stag Horn Handle Corkscrew, Wine Bottle Opener
Fabulous find, this amazing Stag Horn Corkscrew with Sterling Silver Cap. The large handle is fabulous and easy to grip, feels good in your hand, making a strong statement. This is someone who knows their wine.
Made of a large Stag horn handle with a sterling silver cap, the bell above the corkscrew is a Walker Company design from 1900, which has a wire breaker and cap-lifter. The worm (corkscrew) is known as a bladed style with the outer edge designed to cut through the cork with ease. Above the bell is a decorative collar that covers the shaft, which attaches to the horn.
The Sterling silver is marked with (Sterling 20). The silver cap measures 1½” long, 1½” tall, 1½” wide. The end is monogrammed with the letter (B).
This corkscrew has been in a private collection for the past 40 years.

Measurements: 5½” tall, 9" wide at handle
Condition: wonderful with light normal wear. The Antler handle is solid, with no visible damage. The corkscrew has light plating loss.
