Antique Sterling Silver Stag Horn Handle Corkscrew, Wine Bottle Opener
Exquisite find, this amazing Stag Horn Corkscrew with Sterling Silver Caps. The large handle is fabulous and easy to grip, feels good in your hand, making a strong statement. This is someone who knows their wine.
Made of a large Stag horn handle with sterling-silver capped ends, the bell above the corkscrew is a Walker Company design from 1900, which has a wire breaker and cap-lifter. The worm (corkscrew) is known as a bladed style with the outer edge designed to cut through the cork with ease. Above the bell is a decorative collar that covers the shaft, which attaches to the horn.
The Sterling silver caps are marked with (Sterling) and feature beautiful flower design scrollwork. The end is not monogrammed; you can add your initials or give it as a gift with their initials—a truly spectacular gift. We do not offer monogramming.
This corkscrew has been in a private collection for the past 40 years.

Circa: 1890-1900.
Marked: Sterling.
Measurements: 6½” tall, 6½” wide at handle.
Condition: wonderful with light normal wear. The Antler handle is solid and shows no visible damage. The corkscrew has light plating loss.
