Antique Corkscrew with Pig Handle and a Sterling Silver Cap, Wine Bottle Opener
Wonderful find: this beautiful Corkscrew with a Sterling Silver cap.
Made of a Pig handle with a sterling silver end. The bell above the corkscrew is a Walker Company design from 1900 and includes a wire breaker and cap-lifter. The worm (corkscrew) is known as a bladed style, with the outer edge designed to cut through the cork with ease. Above the bell is a decorative collar that covers the shaft, which attaches to the handle.
The Sterling silver cap is marked with (Sterling 128). The Sterling end cap has not been monogrammed. You can add your initials or give it as a gift with their initials—a truly spectacular gift. We do not offer monogramming.
This corkscrew has been in a private collection for the past 40 years.
Circa: 1900.
Measurements: 6” tall, 4¾” wide at handle.
Condition: minor dents on the silver cap.
