Amazing find, this early 1900s wooden shipping crate for the Fleck's Brewery Company (Fleckenstein Beverage Company) of Faribault, Minnesota
History: Fleckenstein Beverage Company (Fleck's Brewery) of Faribault, Minnesota, a brewery founded by German immigrants Ernst and Gotfried Fleckenstein in the late 1850s, operating until 1964. Known for aging their beer in limestone caves, the company thrived by diversifying into soft drinks during Prohibition and maintained a beloved local reputation, only to close as the smallest brewery in the country. Measures: outside-16” x 10¾” x 9 ¾” tall.
Inside-14¼” x 9½” x 9¼” depth.
Condition: rustic.
