Antique Visible Glass Mailbox by George Collins
Wonderful find: this amazing Glass Mailbox made by George Collins. Designed to be wall-mounted. Made of thick embossed glass with metal top and bottom hinged lids. The top lid is for the Postal Carrier to place letters into the box, and the bottom lockable lid (can add a small padlock) is for retrieving your mail. The glass has wonderful air bubbles and sand embedded in it, which is very common in antique glass.
Circa: 1920s
Measures: overall outer height 12½”, 6” wide, 4 ½” depth.
Condition: very nice, light discoloration on metal.
