This is a special book; it was owned and signed by "Slim" McNaught, who was a custom saddle maker in New Underwood, South Dakota. (Signed on the inside front cover).
The book is full of techniques on handmade horse tack and leatherworking.

The book is from the estate of William R. "Slim" McNaught (1934–2025), a revered ranch hand, leather artisan, saddle maker, cowboy poet, and musician based in New Underwood, South Dakota.

Circa: 2nd reprint 1956

Condition: very light wear, jacket is worn as shown.
