Original 1919 Hamley's Saddles Deluxe Catalog No. 14
Amazing find, this original copy of the 1919 Hamleys Saddles Deluxe For Men Who Care. This is a 224-page catalog book for the Hamley & Company of Pendleton, Oregon. Comprised of their Horse Tack and Cowboy supplies.
This is a very rare book due to the Hamley Company fire in 1919. That permanently erased the company's original production records for their custom-made western saddles made before that year.
This is also a special book; it was owned and signed by "Slim" McNaught, who was a custom saddle maker in New Underwood, South Dakota.
The book is from the estate of William R. "Slim" McNaught (1934–2025), a revered ranch hand, leather artisan, saddle maker, cowboy poet, and musician based in New Underwood, South Dakota.
Circa: 1919
Measures: 9” x 5 13/16” x ½”. 224 pages.
Condition: The book is worn as shown in the pictures and has pencil writing on the back cover pages.
